Dealing with washer fatigue and thread tape to keep everything a leak free as possible has been a pain. Plus the only hose bib is on the side of my house, about 75 feet away from where I actually need to use it and through a gate that I prefer to keep locked. This quick change system works far better than I expected. What a time saver to quickly remove my hand nozzle at full pressure with just a few drops lost using just the index finger and thumb, then plug it directly into my Gardena oscillating sprinkler (tilted away from me, of course)again with little if any lost water. It does take a little more pressure to insert the hose into the sprinkler because of the extra pressure the automatic seal needs to overcome, but just about anyone but severe arthritis sufferers or the relatively frail will have no problem doing it.
