We wanted a hose hanger that was simple, could be moved, took up very little lawn space and would not have to be attached to a building. That is exactly what this item Yard Butler Free Standing Hose Hanger #HC-2 provides. It is quick and easy to install with a short piece of rebar (and a matching piece of pvc pipe to make for a quieter hanger) and can be set up anywhere on the lawn.

This is exactly what I needed and perfect for my needs. The heavy duty bracing makes the hanger very sturdy and I do not believe it would sag at all. I had it set in about 12" of cement (we did not think the "at least 8" of cement was enough). For my needs the height (with 12" buried) was fine as I could not have it protruding from the ground too much higher, but tall users might find it on the short side depending on how much is buried.
