The material and workmanship is excellent, and seems really heavy duty. You get a good flow and pressure with the 5/8" diameter hose, and I really like the stainless steel fittings. Although I don't expect to drink out of it, the fact that it's lead free and sanitary is a bonus. It seems fairly well made. It is not kink free. We keep it on a hose storage bracket mounted on an outdoor deck, as most folks likely would. You do have to put a little "twist" into the hose when coiling it on the bracket. That also means you have to "untwist" it when removing the hose. That's where the kinking still occurs. To be fair, it is a lot less likely to kink than any other hose we've ever owned, but, for the price and design description, that's what you'd expect.The stainless steel connector (that screws on to the house hose bib) has already started to rust. That's a little disappointing, considering it's only been used for two weeks. It's just surface corrosion, but also unexpected at this stage in the game. My wife does a lot of outdoor planting watering, and a good quality hose is a must. This is probably better than other hoses we've had over the years, but doesn't really live up to our total expectations. Oh...
