The problem is with what they don't tell you. When the hose gets hot laying in the sun especially with any water inside, it swells up like a sausage. If you leave the water pressure on, it is likely to burst at the brass connector. I guess that this is the price you pay to have a supple hose easy to handle. Either it never came with an o-ring in the connector or it easily fell out because after one use and a switch to a different spigot, this hose was leaking at the connection like crazy. I've had two Gilmour hoses and they've been fantastic. A little pricier, but worth it. I'd go for a return but at $12, can't justify the hassle. |
