At least the portion spent in the garden. I will never buy a standard hose again. My plants will suffer less neglect, because this hose is so convenient to use. I *hate* winding hoses. These strong emotions cause me to procrastinate and therefore lose many pretty plants. I've purchased special (read: specially priced) auto-winding hose caddies to help with this annoying chore, which have been moderately useful when they work right, and I've invested hundreds in "no-kink" hoses that have been a real disappointment. I once bought a coil hose at the home store, but it leaked badly and tangled. It barely lasted the season, so I bought a standard hose the next time. The reviews of this hose pursuaded me to reach out for the dream once more. This hose is high quality, good sealing, heavy-duty, and doesn't tangle on itself.
