This is the best hose keeper I've ever owned.The crank contraption inside a box did not work for me. The reel on a wall was not easy to manipulate. I do not trust the cute pots that supposedly can house a hose. (How does one coil 66 to 100 feet of heavy rubber in a pot?) Just dumping the gnarled mass on the ground is not an answer. There are hidden bonuses to this brightly colored German product. Not only is the reel amazingly portable and nearly effortless for a woman to crank to extend and rewind the hose. The hose itself is incredibly light. It is not rubber and it does not kink! We'll see how well this hose and reel hold up, but so far, my expectations have been exceeded. No leaks and kinks. 2) The main hose is lightweight to lift and easy to move and handle. It comes out of the reel effortlessly and smoothly. The crank handle moves smoothly and doesn't feel jammed or hard to move. 3) The connector pipe attaches to the faucet and reel easily.You have to first screw the connector to the faucet and then click on the pipe to the connector. It took me less than a minute to figure out and within 10 minutes of taking the item out of the box I was watering my front garden bed.
