If you're looking for a simple, wall-mounted reel to keep your hose knot-free and off the ground, the Reel Easy is a fine option. It comes preassembled--a big plus--so all you need to do is mount it to the wall with four screws, which are included. Also, the hose guide helps you wind without tangles, and the snap hook holds the hose end when it's not in use. On the downside, we found the construction a little rickety and the turning action a bit stiff. If you're going to be winding and unwinding your hose frequently, you might want a more polished product, but for light use, this product will keep your hose from rusting in the garden or tripping you up in the garage. Limited lifetime warranty.

| 22 of 25 people found the following review helpful  "Reel crappy" is more like it!, By Pros: * Nice color, blends into any house or garden * Inexpensive * Doesn't cause skin irritation, vomiting or hives (ok, that's a stretch, but I couldn't think of a third pro and I wanted three) Cons: * Flimsy plastic, cheaply made * Connector to water supply line is plastic, not brass, and despite much tightening, mine dripped and dripped. * Does NOT hold a 100 foot 5/8" hose. Not even close. I'm going to order a metal "professional" model on Amazon that's about 3x the price of this...but reviews are very positive and it looks like it will last. I had to drop another star.I got this item because my hose spigot is located inside my garage, and I wanted something to reel the hose up and get it off the floor. This design works great... mounts on the wall right over the spigot, reels 50' of black Goodyear hose up nicely, but it could have been better. I'll tell you why it only gets three stars. First star deduction: This thing leaked right out of the box!! Not cool. I almost sent it back, but then thought, "if this one leaks, who's to say the next one won't", then I read the reviews about it leaking, and someone saying it will 'eventually leak'. So, being one of those 'I think I can fix anything' kind of guys, I decided to take it apart. I took the valve assembly apart and found it's just a plastic sleeve with double O-rings. Very simple.
