This review is from: Orbit 7-Piece Quick Connect Set - Easy On/Off for Hose & Faucet, Tri-Lingual These are OK but are not as heavy duty as item "Orbit Brass Hose Quick Connect Set 58117", which I happened to have purchased first. While these are indeed brass they are definitely not as thick as the 58117, and I guess the price reflects this. They seem to mate with the 58117 components just fine, however there are instances where ANY of these female couplings will screw on to the point where the male unit will encounter interference and not seat correctly (these or the 58117). Have to use lot's of plumber tape and not screw down the female coupling all the way. Otherwise all of these things work as advertised. This review is from: Orbit 7-Piece Quick Connect Set - Easy On/Off for Hose & Faucet, Tri-Lingual After one week, 2 way valve started to leak. Both ends started dripping water while closed. There was no extensive use on valve, may be I opened and closed it maximum of 10 times. Quick connects works fine. Couldn't return because I liked the quick connects.
