The hose is made from 100% Polyurethane and features solid brass fittings which have been chrome plated to ensure long life and prevent leaks. The wand sprayer is 24 inches long and makes watering hard to reach plants easy. Equipped with an adjustable spray tip, the Indoor Outdoor 50 Foot Coil Hose can adjust from a solid stream to a very fine mist. Water flow rate is about .5 gallons of water per minute. Hose diameter is approximately 1/4". The mini coil with and sprayer weighs less than 1 pound. Connect it to any outdoor spigot. I purchased this item as a replacement for one I'd used in my hobby greenhouse that I'd bought maybe 10 years ago.The old one had a pvc wand which had shrunk with age such that the pressure fittings no longer would hold onto it and it would shoot off the end of the coiled hose adapter when you least expected it. I had searched several sites, and the ones that were completely made from plastic hadn't gotten good reviews. There was also one available under the "Rumford" brand that was about twice as much as this one and it didn't seem too impressive either. This one came within about week from purchase and it was really nice. Instead of the wand being pvc, its wand is either brass-plated or solid brass with a brass fitting on the end to adjust the flow. The brass is pressure fitted into the handle that has a pressure lever on it that you press to allow the water out.
