They are thinner than some soakers, making them easier to wind around the flowerbeds. They also have a nice even drip that provides enough water at a very low pressure setting. Two hoses together water my bed with a slow all day drip. I was also pleased to see that they are made in the USA and have a 7 year warranty, better than most soakers out there. I was pleased to find that even with very low pressure coming out of my barrel, these hoses seem to do a nice job watering my flower beds. In a 4-5 hours all 65 gallons drains into my bed. Will post a picture later on today if it all looks gr8 and so far am happy since we have a well and if it conserves water like it says and a sprinkler waters whole garden and seems a waste since we only need to water rows and I will be buying more of these since we got 20 rows & watering each row plus a a half row for about 30 mins. each and see if that will be enough!"UPDATE" after trying out the soaker hoses and the 50' by itself worked gr8 on the short rows but adding the 2nd line to do a 94' rows we have didn't do so good. We removed the baffle /pressure reducer insert on the 2nd 50' we attached just to see if the water flow would increase but it did only slightly. We did find out that the newly plowed garden was still soft and sunk in some since we hadn't had a good rain to tighten up soil but it is good on the crops that are already getting some size to them like the...
