3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Lightweight hose, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Colorite Element ELMRV12025 Marine/RV Lead Free Drinking Water Safe 1/2-Inch by 25-Foot Water Hose (Lawn & Patio) Product was as described. It is for lightweight use however. I'd be leary of any high water pressure for any length of time. Lasted 2 months!, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Colorite Element ELMRV12025 Marine/RV Lead Free Drinking Water Safe 1/2-Inch by 25-Foot Water Hose (Lawn & Patio) We bought 3 of theses hoses, one for each of our decks. We took care to wrap up the hoses after every use, however, 2 of the 3 started twisting on the inside. Then they developed pinhole leaks which eventually exploded into larger holes. All this happened during a 2 month timeframe. This purchase was hardly worth the money we spent. If I had to advise a reader of these reviews, I would suggest trying another brand. Lightweight water hose, By Phyllis Zimmerman (Bryan, TX United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Colorite Element ELMRV12025 Marine/RV Lead Free Drinking Water Safe 1/2-Inch by 25-Foot Water Hose (Lawn & Patio) I wanted this hose to connnect an automatic dog water bowl to an outside spigot, but I am leery about leaving it on and under pressure. It is not as heavy-duty or reinforced as I would like, and if it bursts, it would flood my garage. Upon connecting it, it leaked, but a new gasket and a couple of wraps around the faucet threads with some teflon tape fixed that. It will do for now, but I'm going to keep looking for something more high pressure tolerant. |
