He sits there in our courtyard welcoming guests and hiding that unsightly hose. Adds a touch of whimsy. Arrived with cracks on his front feet. But I opted to live with it .. let's see how long it takes for the cracks to grow and split. The hinge on the back is somewhat flimsy and won't surprise me if they snap one of these days. I would be more picky if there were a ton of working "hose hiding" options out there. But for now, Darwood is a large, welcoming presence in our lives. Btw, the box might mention that there is a hose reel included but be aware that there are two different models.
